Each year the tournament plans a full menu of activities. Teams should plan to come for their games and stay for the day. The all-inclusive activities are just one area that sets this tournament expereince apart.

BRUNSWICK ZONE

Check out the exciting variety of activities available at Brunswick! Only 5 minutes from the NSC, Brunswick Zone offers 38 lanes of non-stop bowling fun, 6 Billiard Tables, Game Zone Arcade, Laser Tag, and Bumper Cars. Participants receive $1 off per bowling on regular priced games and a $5 game card with coupon. Transportation provided from the NSC per request.

BUNKER BEACH WATER PARK DAY

Newly expanded this year and will now feature six towering waterslides, a 900’ lazy river, activity pool with climbing wall, a zero-entry pool with a water play structure, a creative sand play area, large open areas for sunning and relaxing are scattered throughout and as always, Minnesota’s largest outdoor wave pool!.

COACHES/VIP PARTY

Socialize with other coaches, referees and VIPs in a great atmosphere and have some fun!  Invitations required.

DANCES

Filled with activities, fun, and plenty of dancing teams have a chance to gather with their new friends and celebrate a fantastic week of soccer. USA CUP has established chaperone guidelines for all dances. Chaperones must be at least 21 years of age and complete the required form prior.

GOLF      

Take a break from soccer action and play a round of golf at the NSC’s National Youth Golf Center and 50% off regular rate green fees with purchase of golf cart. Not enough time for an entire round? Take advantage of a complimentary round of putting. Rental golf clubs are available. Call 763.717.3240 to make a tee time.

ICE SKATING

Whether you’re an all-star hockey player, a top figure skater or haven’t put on skates in years, come cool off and skate at Schwan Super Rink. Free skate rentals for participants.

MEET-A-TEAM

If you would like to meet another team while at SCHWAN’S USA Cup, this is the activity for you. Complete the Meet-A-Team form by June 30 to match your team up with another team participating in the tournament. You and your “Match Team” will be responsible for inventing your own shared activity such as a picnic, a trip to Valley Fair Amusement Park, or touring the Twin Cities.  Space is limited, click here register

OPENING CEREMONIES

Join us for an Olympic-style ceremony showcasing ALL teams in Schwan's USA CUP. A colorful parade of teams leads up to the lighting of the cauldron. Teams should march wearing team uniforms or cultural costumes representative of their homes. Many teams carry team banners and country or state flags. Teams will march by country, state or Minnesota soccer club. Immediately following the Opening Ceremonies will be a spectacular firework display and the Schwan Fest Concert. 

PINS AND PATCHES TRADING

Let the trading begin! Weather it be before or after a game, at the designated trading area in the NSC Sports Hall, or any other time or place during the tournament, don’t leave without collecting memories of teams you’ve played or the people you’ve met. We encourage your team to come prepared, but if you need something once you are here Soccer Express will be on-site to cater to your last minute needs!

SCHWAN ZONE

Interactive soccer activities are a great way for your team to have fun while sharpening their soccer skills. Come challenge yourself or a friend at one or all of the activities. The Schwan Zone features a variety of interactive games.  There’s something for everyone. 

TOURISM PACKAGES

Looking for something to do between Schwan's USA CUP Weekend and Schwan's USA CUP? Sign up for one of our “Monday Tours.” Available tours include a trip to the Mall of America, a day of fun at Valley Fair Amusement Park, a visit to the Science Museum of Minnesota, and a shopping excursion to the Albertville Premium Outlets. VELODROME RACING

Join us to help us celebrate our 21st year of racing at the NSC Velodrome. Thursday Night Lights crowds enjoy a wide variety of races, four unique groups of racers and several unique interactive games under the lights.  Fans can pick their favorite racer in special nightly races for chances to win prizes from our sponsors.  Our house DJ spins tunes that pump up the racers and the fans.  And fans can join us for dinner!  The Track Shack concession stand features hot and cold food and beverages during every Thursday Night Lights event.
